I’ve Been Tagged by Shlemazl

I’ve been tagged by Shlemazl.

1. One book that changed your life?

The Communist Manifesto, by Karl Marx. Technically, I haven’t read it yet, but it really spells out the problem with Dick Cheney.

2. One book you have read more than once?

Got War?: A Doonesbury Book by G. B. Trudeau. In particular, there were a few pages that I reread. I get the chills when reading Doonesbury.

3. One book you would want on a desert island?

Probably one of my PhD dissertations. I find them highly stimulating.

4. One book that made you laugh?

The 9/11 Commission Report. I laughed at all the lies. Actually, I haven’t read it yet, but it is still full of Islamophobic (and homophobic) lies.

5. One book that made you cry?

My Life, by Bill Clinton. The suffering that man has seen! I intend to read this book one day.

6. One book you wish had been written?

Professor Kurgman and His Legacy. It’s not too late.

7. One book you wish had never been written.

The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith. This racist bile has only prolonged the suffering of Sun People. Or so I am told.

8. One book you're currently reading.

Got War?: A Doonesbury Book by G. B. Trudeau. In truth, I haven’t finished it yet.

9. One book you have been meaning to read.

Got War?: A Doonesbury Book by G. B. Trudeau. Like I just said, I haven’t finished it yet.

10. Now tag five people.

Not now. I must take an extended rest after that.

Prof.,

Karl Marx was a racist. His works are full of racist (although not homophobic) remarks. How do you handle this?

Great summary!

Mr. Shlemazl -

Just as you were starting to earn my respect, you slander Karl Marx.

To answer your outrageous remarks, let me paraphrase our Middle Eastern brothers and sisters, who, on the question of "Will you recognize Israel if 99% gets blown apart by an Islamic Bomb", answer benevolently, "This is not possible."

Certainly, if Marx is the spirit of every progressive cause, how could he have possibly been racist?

I will refrain, Mr. Shlamzel, to demolish your claim by citing my academic credentials and affiliations.

Prof, what do you think about this article:

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=50724

It quotes several clearly racist remarks.

Some antisemitic remarks by Marx can be found here:

There is more if you are interested. Please don't refrain from demolishing my claim :-)

Mr. Shlemazl -

You are no doubt familiar with Professor Stephen M. Walt and his affiliation with the Kennedy School at Harvard. Therefore, just as you would not doubt his authority on matters such as the Jewish Question, you have no right to question anything I say about Marxism, as I too am affiliated with Harvard University.

Furthermore, I am now questioning my decision to permit comments from people who do not state their academic qualifications. At a minimum, I suggest that you reconsider the wisdom of disputing statements put forth by someone with three PhDs.

If you insist on continuing this pointless discussion, I shall have no choice other than to compare you negatively with Hitler.

Professor,

I resign to your superior knowledge.

This is the second time my qualifications have been questioned today and the third time I have been compared to Nazis (negatively). I have to admire your restraint as you have not stated that

1. My mother is a prostitute
2. I am half Stormfront and half ADL
3. I should leave Canada.
4. "All tories are Nazis".
5. I am ... "repulsive. Immoral. Dim-witted. Aggressive. Senselessly violent. Delusional. And a serial Liar"

More here and here

Thaks for being so nice to me :-)!
