How Wall Street got rich through GREED

Everyone agrees that our financial crisis was caused by greed. Naturally, this is a correct assessment because it was formed by consensus.

But how, you ask, did greed make the Wall Street bankers so rich?

Simple. Greed drives businesses to sell things to customers who cannot afford to pay for them.

Let's look at an example:

Say you want to buy a house, and can only afford $100,000. A rich capitalist might discover this, and the following conversation would ensue:

You: I want to buy a $100,000 house because I can only afford to spend $100,000.

Capitalist: Nonsense, you can afford a $300,000 house, easily, and I can lend you enough money to make it happen.

You: There's no way I can afford a $300,000 house; I'll never have enough money to pay back that loan!

Capitalist: That's a swell haircut you have there.

You: Thank you! Of course I can afford a $300,000 house! Yes I can! Yes we can!

At this point, the capitalist lends you $300,000 -- knowing full well that the loan will never be paid off. You struggle to make payments, but you...just...can't. The greedy capitalist loaned you $300,000 and you only paid back $100,000! Need I elaborate further on how this has made capitalists rich? (And how this further oppresses the Palestinian people?)

It's my understanding that automobiles are sold the same way. Greedy auto salesmen often sell $30,000 cars to people who can only pay $10,000.

Fortunately, the government, which by its very definition cannot ever be greedy, is only asking for a mere $700,000,000,000 contribution to make us all investors in these loans.

I weep at the fairness of this.

God Damn George Bush; he created this mess.

God Damn the U.S. of KKK!

The Presidential Debate

"Democracy is indispensable to socialism."

- Vladimir Lenin

As were most other viewers, I was sickened to watch John "W." McCain taunting Barack with racist slurs.

But in the long run, it will not matter. Barack held his own, and reminded the Amerikkkan voters that:

- They are suffering because of rich people

- They are suffering because of Bush

- They should not have to pay off their loans

- They are struggling, struggling, struggling

- They work hard with nothing to show for it; rich people do nothing except make money off of working people

- The government needs to be bigger

- Oil companies will be punished

- The financial crisis is a result of Bush's regulation-free Wild West "laissez faire" banking system

- Rich CEOs are to blame for all problems

- We should reduce trade with other nations. (I personally feel strongly about this, and would hope that President Obama will follow a Juche economic plan.)

- Everyone will get free health care

- We can't afford another eight years of what this country just went through; we need to return to October 2000.

- McCain wants to hand over $4,000,000,000 to the oil companies. Remember: A tax reduction is the same thing as a gift. (I also strongly agree with this. The government is entitled to everyone's money, and anything that the government does not collect is most certainly a gift.)

- Private insurance companies are now getting an annual $15,000,000,000 gift.

- Health care is bankrupting otherwise solvent citizens

- A few rich people are making everyone else poor

- We need new infrastructure, new roads to the most remote rural areas, and a new electrical "grid".

- We will get a "Google for Government" because the government is better at providing clear and useful information than Google itself.

- Money spent in Iraq should instead be spent on expanding social programs here

- Bush: An orgy of spending

- Iraq: We lost

- Sanctions: They work

- Tougher sanctions: They work even better

- Kissinger: He took my line, let's meet with Iran

- Energy: We need a strategy

- Drilling: Can't drill our way out of problems

- Solutions: Solar, wind and biodiesel

- Veterans Affairs: Give them more money

- Investments: What we need to do to education so that ordinary people can live out their dreams

- Me: Not ordinary

- Kenya: Land of my father

Well, good for Barack that he understands what the working people need to hear. With these sort of insightful policy prescriptions, I suspect that most people will be voting Democrat.

Put another way: If a responsive government can give the people everything they need from those who can most afford to pay for it, then it is almost axiomatic that the majority will vote with their heart.

And the majority is always right.

Solidarity, brothers and sisters.

We are getting much closer to the next stage of capitalism's death spiral.

Zero-Payment Housing: A Right

Many people have been asking me, "Professor, I am not able to understand the present financial crisis. And though I am undoubtedly not bright enough to understand your explanation, I still need help. So, can you please explain it to me?"

This question is indeed burdensome, but I will reluctantly oblige.

In a nutshell, greedy capitalists are raping the working people and minorities. Again. And again. And over and over and over again. To the point where it is nearly surgically impossible to correct the damage.

Specifically, here is what happened:

Step #1: I, being a typical working person, am entitled to housing. But under our dictatorship of the dollar, I have to go to you, the blood-drinking Zionist banker, for a loan.

Step #2: In the old days, I would have had to put 20% down. So, for a $100K house, I would have had to make a $20K down payment, and the bank would lend me the remaining $80K. So, if the value of my house dropped to $90K and I stopped making payments (as is my right), the bank would seize my house, sell it for $90K, take its $80K, and return only $10K to me. That's not fair! By what right would the bank have to seize my house and not return all my money? Because I refused to make loan payments? Fuck you, bank!!

Step #3: Of course, requiring down payments is racist, so in 2004, HUD twisted the arm of Bush-Hitler to the point where it nearly broke off, and he announced the "Zero Down Payment Mortgage". That's getting much closer to a free mortgage! And it is what the working people deserve. Now I would borrow the entire $100K, and if I stopped making loan payments when the value of my house fell to $90K, the bank would seize it, and get only $90K of its $100K back! In other words, they will have lost money! Ha ha, fuck you, bank! And fuck you capitalist lenders! Fuck you, Zionist entity! For once, you're the suckers!

Step #4: As it happened, though, the bank loans were sold to the semi-governmental Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, regardless of the loan's terms. So the banks didn't much care about losing money; they had government customers ready to buy the loans. As the banks could make money, but were reasonably insured against losing money, they made lots of loans to people who deserved such loans. However, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were now exposed to losing money. Well, fuck them too! Except for one thing...

Step #5: I AM ENTITLED TO LIVE IN MY HOUSE, WHETHER I PAID FOR IT OR NOT. In other words, someone had better pay the banks or Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac or someone somewhere with lots of money so that I won't have to.

And that "someone" is a government with a heart:

Barack Obama has also criticized McCain for sitting back and watching while so many American families face eviction. Yet his own proposals are more nuanced than Hillary's. They include setting up a $10 billion fund to help prevent foreclosures, cracking down on mortgage fraud, providing tax credits to low- and middle-income homeowners who don't currently itemize their interest payments, and standardizing the terms of mortgages so that potential borrowers can more easily figure out when they are being hoodwinked. Obama has also expressed support for Democratic Senator Chris Dodd's plan to expand the Federal Housing Administration's ability to refinance troubled loans.
And after the fat capitalist scum come up with the money, the people shall drag them into the streets and BEAT THEM WITHOUT MERCY. Socialism, first, last, and always.

In real life, of course, this is not true, as I obviously do not have a mortgage on my rent-controlled apartment.

Someday, we shall all be living under such control. Control is wealth. And wealth is community. And community is the world of my brothers and sisters.

I assume that this explanation was far beyond the grasp of most readers.

Bye Bye Fidel

Some thoughts on the reign of my beloved Fidel Castro:

  • A country is to be judged entirely on free access to health care. On this measure, Fidel's Cuba is in fact the supreme revolutionary state that Amerikkka should hope to become one day.
  • Fidel was a pure revolutionary; even Reuters knows that. In the entire history of the world, there have been only four dictators, of which one (and maybe two!) were defeated by Fidel: Batista, Pinochet, Hitler, and Bush.
  • Fidel's Cuba is GREEN! Power consumption per capita is only 1,200 KWh (similar to other green nations like Tunisia and Syria). Compare with loathesome fat Amerikkkans drinking 13,000 (!) KWh per capita.
  • Fidel's Cuba has a per capita income of $3,000 -- similar to the nations of honest Sun People of sub-Saharan Africa. Unlike the murderous status-seeking Amerikkkans, Cubans derive pleasure from the non-monetary aspects of life, such as free health care and a genuine Revolution!
I miss you already, Fidel, my leader.

It's Funny Because It's True: Nixon & Bush

Back in the day when I was publicly defecating on Amerikkkan flags to protest the abhorrent policies of the ogre Nixon, it did not occur to me that someday, Nixon would resurface in a different guise.

Yes, I'm looking at your grotesque visage, Mister Bush. You are not as crafty as the treacherous Mr. Nixon was, but your vacuousness is a perfect complement to the homicidal KKKristianist crimes committed by your godbag cronies. But the people have your number. Your fear-mongering tactics about so-called "nuclear weapons" being developed in Iran are nothing more than a contrivance designed to distract us from attorney firings. But your scheme will not work. Just as your CIA-planned "9/11" did not distract us, neither will your Iranian bogeyman distract us from your abhorrent scandals.

My life has been one constant battle against genocidal criminals and genocidal morons/chimpanzees.

The Amerikan Christian Theocracy vs. Our Children

With the new Democratic Congress, I am optimistic that the battle against the Amerikan Christian Theocracy will be won.

The gravest danger the world faces (next to International Zionism) is Amerikan Christianity. It is supremacist, homophobic, intolerant, cruel, misogynistic, and utterly incapable of reform. From Richard Nixon to Ronald Reagan to the most hideous monster ever, W. Shrub (this is no time for joking, but still – get the joke?), the Christians have unleashed their merciless reign of terror on the Amerikan people in the most depraved manner conceivable.

As a result, we are now living under a Christian totalitarianism—with rules created by the subfascist murdering swine Bush, instigated and paid for by Zionist neocons and their banks, and enforced by the blood-drenched fist of the Amerikan military and the morons who they recruit.

The Dark Ages have returned, and our children are the main victims. Our public schools have been turned into tools of the Theocracy. Our children are being tortured (yes, TORTURED!) into becoming accomplices of the most evil cult ever. Since when does the fucking Amerikan Constitution permit torture against children?

Yes, I will use profane language to establish irrefutable points.

The solution: The Democrats must adopt my four-point program:

1. Impeach Bush.

2. Hang Bush and his cronies.

3. Encourage all Christianists to attend life-long sentences in Alaskan academies.

4. Establish a secular nation, dedicated to the principles of Scientific Socialism.

Democrats: Do it for the children. Otherwise, you might be thought of as child molesters.

Remember, this is what is mandated in every Amerikan school today; let’s bring up our children in the proper way instead.

Democrats to Enact My Agenda: Amerikkka is now Amerika

Election Day is over, and the Amerikkkan people spoke as one, against the cruel and selfish policies of Bush and his criminal cronies. From re-electing a genuine Socialist Congressperson to receiving the highest levels of international approval, Amerikkka is now Amerika -- as both houses of Congress have been restored to leaders with a vision of unity and diversity among the Amerikan collective.

And I weep. I weep with the joy and anticipation of the Democrats fulfilling their promises to the Amerikan people:

1. Raising the minimum wage. Hundreds of economists cannot be wrong; I recommend at least $500/hour to remedy past injustices.

2. Pull the moron military out of Iraq. And, please, follow my advice on how to end this terrible, terrible quagmire.

3. Open Amerika’s borders. And, again, follow my recipe, starting with the elimination of all customs controls and border checks.

4. Increase taxes. We will never become a wealthy nation until everyone’s incomes are completely taxed away.

5. Reduce interest rates on student loans. Preferably to zero. For that matter, force banks to loan money for nothing, too. But make them pay more interest to account holders. Or just eliminate all tuition instead.

6. Lower drug prices. Again, preferably to zero. Hell, just make everything free already!

I would like to add a couple of my own suggestions. I know that Speaker Pelosi is reading this, so I assume that they will be implemented.

1. Hang George W. Bush for high crimes against the World’s People.

2. Restore Saddam Hussein to the Iraqian Presidency. Amerikkka’s attack made everyone worse off; surely, restoring President Hussein will bring us back to that happier, pre-invasion period.

3. Form strategic alliances with Islamic nations to defend against Zionist aggression.

The collective voice of the Amerikan people has demanded change, and the will of the majority must be enforced. As any child knows, the majority decides everything for all of us. Majority wins.

I look forward to a new Amerika.

The Most Touching Thing I Have Read All Day

I am truly touched by this. Mom Has Died...Just in Time.

"I am glad PTSD/dementia clouded the last three years of Mom's life (she died at 88). Thank God she did not have to see the absurd parody of the election process she served with dedication and love for her country and her fellow man."

There is no higher calling than to wish dementia and death on a parent to spare them the even-worse suffering of awareness of the Bush Hell-on-Earth.

Note that the author also weeps a lot; we have that in common. But in this case, I weep tears of joy that his mother suffered from the lesser of two evils.

If the Republicans win the White House again, I will ask my doctor to somehow induce a brain-destroying stroke in me so that I can live out my years in the bliss of a nursing home, unaware of the Christian theocratic dictatorship.

The Four Pillars of Humanity

What makes us human?

This is a question which is too-often ignored, and also one that I am uniquely qualified to expound upon. And I am not referring to the biological differences between people and animals -- but I instead wish to explore those qualities that define our humanity.

1) Giving, Sharing and Generosity. Giving what is yours to someone else is human. Giving to the needy is human. Giving to those who ask is human. Giving to the oppressed is human. Ideally, we should all give to each other. I give you a dollar and you give me a dollar. Or better yet, we should pool our two dollars into a communal bank, and then withdraw whatever we need. Actually, make that a three-dollar deposit to cover administrative expenses. And let's invite the entire international community into our glorious bank! The entire planet will contribute everything they have into a communal bank! Yes, the bank will need oversight, but that's what I and my colleagues are for. Everyone will be an account holder at The People's Bank. And we can even use some of the funds to teach everyone why they must join. And perhaps spend a few People's Dollars for enforcement against enemies who wish to destroy our bank by not cooperating. The World's People, in solidarity: That is generosity.

2) Questioning Authority. We are not sheep to be helplessly led by the throat by whoever decides to be in charge. This is why I scoff at the police who tell me to stand behind the barricades. This is why I ignore the university administrators who have the audacity to approach me. This is why I sneer at anyone who tries to enforce the fascist "ten items or less" line at the food co-op. This is why I support resistant movements (Palestine, China, The Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and The Shining Path) against their brutal oppressors (Israel, Taiwan, Amerikkka, and Amerikkka). Our fight against authority expresses itself as fighting, resisting, and struggling. Endless fighting, endless resisting, and endless struggling. And our reward will be the preservation of our humanity.

3) Respecting Strong Leadership. Humanity requires guidance. Strong, benevolent, and wise guidance. Or, put another way, one billion Chinese couldn't have been wrong to be faithful followers of Mao! On our own, we are lost -- but visionary leadership can bring us everything from universal equality to increased chromium production. Or, by way of illustration, look at how inhuman Amerikkkans respect a weak moron like Bush, but the strong Syrian people display their humanity by showing their unconditional allegiance to the powerful leadership of Bashar Assad. And have you seen the fiery speeches of the deeply religious Mulim imams? That is leadership! A true leader would never hesitate, never equivocate, never change his mind, and will always be firm, decisive, and have a superhuman grasp of all knowledge with the kindness to use his powers to help The People. Don't get me wrong...I admire President Gore as much as anyone, but it is more human to respect Kim Il-Sung.

4) Honesty. When I am in the food co-op, I unhesitatingly tell the clerk how much I hate him. That is honesty. When a stranger greets me, I snap back, "Keep your superficial pleasantries to yourself, you Nazi." When I am in an elevator and have digestive issues, I force flatulence then and there. I do not hide armpit bacterial odors behind an artificial shield of deodorant; such actions are being dishonest with nature. I am who I am, and others must accept me that way. My behavior is unconstrained and honest. My feelings are unconstrained and honest, and I will therefore express them in their most basic and visceral form. And feelings are, ultimately, what must guide us.

The Supreme Court Says: "Fuck Bush!"

Here is my favorite PhD candidate, Kathy, commenting on yesterday’s monumental indictment of Warmonger-in-Chief, Bush, for raping the Geneva Convention by holding people of color in the extermination camps of Guantanamo.

*******************

the supreme court says, like, fuck bush! i mean, like, the only thing that confuses me is that we have like, a supreme court? and, like, iran (or iraq?) has a supreme leader? and i like, sometimes lose track between the supreme court and the supreme leader? i mean, like, the concept of “logic” is, like, so sexist? like, testosterone farm? fuck you and your fuck your testosterone, ok?

so like i’m spending my summer collecting money for greenpeace in front of starbucks, ok, because the ruling class? in starbucks? gives me a lot of money? i mean, like, i totally hate starbucks? like the rich people in there should just totally die or something. and like those guys who give me money, you know, just want to look at my boobs, like they’re, you know, really disgusting republican sexist monsters? the worst are the pigs who run starbucks, because you know how much they really hate women, like they think we’re, like, fucking animals or something! i just so hate starbucks, i want them to die.

anyway, the most important thing is that we, like, save the environment, because, like, president gore proved that people like the ones who run starbucks are like making our planet like really hot? and like, i like, like hot weather, because, you know, everyone is like so cool when it’s, like, hot? i mean, everyone’s out and they can see my tattoo that says “this is the bush I’m voting for” and my other tattoo on my left boob that says “fuck bush” because, you know, like, it’s like, so expressive?

so i took a break in starbucks and i like ordered a really big drink, but you know, i was reading about the calories in starbucks drinks, and they like so want to make us, like totally fat? like this is how they express their hatred to women? but I’m all, like, in solidarity with the employees because you know they’re like so abused and their job is like, so demeaning? i mean, i would so never do that kind of shit work. they’re slaves ok, so i ask them anyway to contribute to greenpeace or give me a free drink because i get really hot out there raising, like, peoples awareness? of, like how nothing is more dangerous that environmental abuse?

but this time, I told them about, like the geneva convention and like who is geneva anyway? that name is so not a person of color. it's like the way they name, like, hurricanes? after white people like katrina and, like, you know, other white people? but geneva said that you can’t hold slaves, and bush was holding slaves, and like, starbucks? is, like, holding their employees as slaves? So, ur so not going 2 believe this, but, like the starbucks employees are like all “who cares” and brainwashed, like, like fucking fascists.

well, fuck them. i mean, like, i can be a real bitch, ok? so i totally did not pay for my drink. fuck them! fuck bush!

u know y? cause bush goes to africa, and brings, like, slaves to amerikkka. and the amerikkkan supreme leader was so, like, “fuck bush”, and “bush, u can’t do that.” yeah, and it’s worse than that because, like? mumia? is still in prison? and like everyone in this, like whole, fucking amerikkka is, like, a slave? and, like geneva needs to free us all?

so we need to be in the streets, like fighting the power and shit? i'll kick the balls out of any rich slave-owning white guy. like, i so wish i wasn’t white? like, i’m a white slave? so, like geneva is so not enough? i mean, like, fuck geneva!

fuck bush!

fuck you!

Bush Worse Than Hitler: The Proof

Yesterday, I inadvertently confused the Democratic Party’s “Take Back America” program with the “25 Points of Hitler’s Nazi Party”.

But upon reading the Nazi platform, it occurred to me that Hitler was more progressive than Bush! Just look at these excerpts from the Nazis:

7. We demand that the State shall above all undertake to ensure that every citizen shall have the possibility of living decently and earning a livelihood.

9. All citizens must possess equal rights and duties.

10. The first duty of every citizen must be to work mentally or physically. No individual shall do any work that offends against the interest of the community to the benefit of all.

12. Since every war imposes on the people fearful sacrifices in blood and treasure, all personal profit arising from the war must be regarded as treason to the people. We therefore demand the total confiscation of all war profits.

13. We demand the nationalization of all trusts.

14. We demand profit-sharing in large industries.

15. We demand a generous increase in old-age pensions.

21. The State has the duty to help raise the standard of national health by providing maternity welfare centers, by prohibiting juvenile labor, by increasing physical fitness through the introduction of compulsory games and gymnastics, and by the greatest possible encouragement of associations concerned with the physical education of the young.

Come to think of it, Hitler was more progressive than today’s weak-spined Democrats. Read this, Nancy Pelosi:

18. We demand that ruthless war be waged against those who work to the injury of the common welfare. Traitors, usurers, profiteers, etc., are to be punished with death, regardless of creed or race.

Say what you will about Hitler, this is incontrovertible proof that Amerikkka would be better off with a leader like Hitler instead of an extreme right-wing fascist like Bush.

World Naked Bike Ride & Bush Motorcade Protest

Here I am, celebrating my body and defending my dignity, on the World Naked Bike Ride.

The purpose of this ride is to

"…face automobile traffic with our naked bodies as the best way of defending our dignity and exposing the unique dangers faced by cyclists and pedestrians as well as the negative consequences we all face due to dependence on oil, and other forms of non-renewable energy."

See more pictures here. I am particularly proud of the participants' ethnic diversity; there’s a woman of color on the ride!

After the bike ride, I went up to Seattle to join the protest at Bush’s motorcade. That’s me, in the middle, standing next to my favorite PhD candidate Kathy—and look at her left hand! Yes, fuck you, you murdering monster. And fuck everyone in your motorcade. And especially fuck everyone in your motorcade who is in a Hummer.

In no place in the world do people live in as much fear of the government as in the fascist Amerikkkan theocracy. We have been silenced by these extreme right-wing stormtroopers, but we are brave, and will stand up to these terrorists who stole the White House. I weep for my community.

Letter to President Ahmadinejad

Needless to say, President Ahmadinejad’s letter to that filth Bush is required reading not only among my students, but among the entire student body, faculty, administrative staff, and janitorial people at my university.

Also needless to say, my students prepared some genuinely thoughtful and touching responses to President Ahmadinejad. The best of the best was written by my favorite Ph.D. candidate Kathy, as displayed below.

*************************************

dear pres. ahmadinejad:

hi…i’m a phd candidate and i, like, so totally agree with your letter? fuck bush! i mean, your people elected you as their president, right? and i’ll bet you don’t tap their phone conversations, either.

i mean, i’m like so ashamed of being an american? i mean, like, where do we get off threatening you? and my professor says that middle east balance of power is just, you know, so tilted to israel because they have nukes and just bully everyone else. so, i just so totally understand why your people need protection. and we are just so with you! i mean, like, none of my friends like israel either. i don’t even have any jewish friends, though one of my friends has a jewish boyfriend, ok, and he is just so uncool? like, embarrassment much? duh!!

do you come to america often? because we, like, just had these awesome immigrant protests, ok? i mean, you look like a latino, so i’ll bet that you feel solidarity with our brothers (and sisters, yeah!) to the south of us. or, are they from the west? i, like, so can’t get my head into that compass thing sometimes! i mean, honestly, i don’t know, you know, where your country, like, is? i mean, maps are such a guy thing? i mean, like, my boyfriend knows how to drive to the campus without asking for directions, and i like, totally respect that? but i’ll, like, ask anyone and everyone 4 directions every time and we’ll just end up having really long conversations? i’m like, a really really really good talker? you should see my cell phone bills. cool!

anyway, like, whatever!

fuck bush!

my best to you and all the other iraqi people.

in solidarity,

kathy

A Letter to a Young Man

There is a conversation on the People's Cube that involves a very misguided young man who yearns for help. I heard his cries, and helped by crafting a letter to him. The entire conversation is here, but if you only want to read the educational part (i.e., my thoughts), I have reproduced my letter below:

***********************************************************************************

My name is Professor Peter Alan Kurgman, cousin of economist Paul Kurgman, and I have three Ph.Ds.

I have been reading your intelligent commentaries with great satisfaction because you could have been one of my own pupils. Of course, you were not really in my classes, as your MIT pedigree includes being educated by professors who, at most, have only one Ph.D. My educated guess (as though it would be possible for me to have any other type of guess!) is that you too have a Ph.D., because of your eloquent locution and incisive analyses.

And yet, you betray your innocent youth by asking questions that have long been answered by those with expertise; i.e., me. Specifically, in reference to the "burning towers", you ask, "Why did they do it?" Well, for starters,we really don't know if those "9/11" attacks actually happened. But if they did, they were caused by a combination of many complex factors:

1. A Mossad plan to frame Arabs.

2. Resistance against the "little Eichmanns" in the buildings.

3. Bush's secret plan to distract the nation from his corrupt oil deals, his stolen elections, his genocide in Iraq, his upcoming genocide in Iran, his goal of establishing a Christian theocracy, and his vice-president's cold-blooded shooting that I will never forget.

4. A divine plan to resolve nineteen personal inner struggles.

And then you ask another earnest, yet naive, question: "Could we find different ways of preventing this from happening?"

Of course we can. In fact, we (meaning our small collective of powerful academic minds) are responsible for the course of all human actions. You see, people are driven by deterministic components; i.e., they have no choice in how they behave. Our professorial input goes in and their personal behavior comes out.

If people succeed, it is because of our visions. If people fail, it is because we did not pursue our visions with enough vigor.

Therefore, with regard to "9/11", we did not pursue our visions hard enough. To be sure, the easy solutions would be to...

1. Abolish the Zionist entity.

2. Imprison the little Eichmanns and all other exploiting capitalists.

3. Impeach, and imprison, Bush.

4. Promote Islam.

But as theoreticians, we (that is, "I") look at the big picture, which is the total application of international scientific socialism in order to subjugate the capitalist class and finally bring true power and equality to the working people. Will you help us make it a reality?

Now, allow me to help you with some of your misguided comments.

Yes, you can wait for time and maturity to clear your thoughts, but it will be faster if I guide you. You may think of me as your Father of Knowledge. If you are a Christian (which I doubt, given your advanced level of education), then you may think of me as your new and better Jesus.

1. You defend Google. Are you not aware that Google is a private (Strike one!) profit-making (Strike two!) American (Strike three!) company? As we all know, the only path to profits is on the backs of the poor. How is it that you have not mentioned the unionization of all Google employees? For that matter, you claim to have worked at Microsoft, which is a non-union shop! Are you aware that your employment at Microsoft took a job away from a union employee? No, you are not aware of that. But, please, never accept employment at a non-union shop again.

2. Your aunt, by believing that "the enemies of the people existed and needed to be squashed" was a wise woman. Do you not empathize with that?

3. You place equal blame on both parties, and on liberals and conservatives. Were you my intellectual equal (which might happen someday!) I would challenge you to mention even one liberal ideal, one cause supported by Code Pink, or one goal of United for Peace and Justice, that is flawed in any way.

4. You say you agree with parts of "The Fountainhead". Please reread that book. I never even picked it up and I detest everything about it. Only through youthful indiscretion could you find anything even remotely positive about that vile volume of fascist trash.

5. You attended a school with Noam Chomsky on the faculty, and did not take one of his classes? I hope you never regret that.

6. You would consider joining the military? The military? First, you do not support unions, and now you would support the military? I spent my entire sophomore year camping outside the dean's office (without changing my clothing even once!) to resist the military, and you would support the military?

7. As a feminist, I take great offense at your mention of "sagging breasts". Do you really intend to diminish and objectify an entire gender like that? And I'll bet you like having sex with them, too! Why not? After all, what else are they good for! I suppose that you also feel that womyn come with "expiration dates"? And that they cannot be firepersons? That they cannot succeed in the NFL?

Yes, a person with less sympathy than yours truly could easily paint you as an exploitative, misogynistic, and militaristic fascist. But as your new Jesus, I forgive you.

Normally, when I hear offensive speech, I either call a boycott or call my lawyer. But in your case, I have sincere hope that you can and will be educated without legal action. You see, this is where I disagree with Mr. Red Square. He blames your education, but I do not. Clearly, you went to the wrong school and studied the wrong disciplines. Science and computers certainly have their place for those with shallow, numeric minds -- but you have the potential to continue beyond that, into the dimensions of feelings and expression.

Let your emotions guide you, and remember my helpfulness.

You are, after all, a person with unlimited potential.

Bush, Cheney, Google vs. The People's Cube

Talk about right-wing bias.

Google (which I never fully trusted anyway because they are profitable) has elected to purge The People’s Cube from their search engine. If you do a search for “People’s Cube”, it will not return a single reference to the site.

This proves beyond all doubt that Google is in the pocket of Dick Cheney and his idiot puppet Bush. Think about it. Cheney, a convicted murderer attempting to avoid the death penalty (the irony!) is trying to create a distraction. And so, he instructs Google to wipe out his biggest adversaries – starting with those who are attempting to expose him for what he is. And Google, flush with their profits of exploitation, needs Cheney in order to expand their Chinese sweatshop operations. This is the capitalist marriage of our worst nightmares.

Who will be the next victim? Code Pink? The Communist Party USA?

And we should be especially worried about the worst possible outcome: Cheney’s Brownshirts and The Google Eisengruppen accost me and sentence me to Guantanamo Bay, as they do with all their enemies who are fighting for equality and justice. I can already envision them flushing one of my many dissertations down the toilet and forcing me to break my vegan diet.

Tomorrow, I shall call the ACLU – assuming that they are not already on the case, working 24/7 on behalf of The Peoples Cube.

I truly detest The United States.

Cheney Scandal Unstoppable

Never mind the usual tabloid right-wing nonsense about mobs of so-called “rioters” in Pakistan allegedly screaming for “Death to America”, never mind the so-called Iranian nuclear weapons and their alleged promise to use them on Israel, and so forth. The fact is: We are not going to be distracted from the Cheney shooting scandal.

This story is bigger than you think:

There is no way to play the usual equivocating politics with a story about the vice-president ACTUALLY SHOOTING SOMEONE. And that's why I guarantee you this story isn't going away: It's a perfect way for the press to indict the entire Administration through the perfect metaphor.

That’s correct. In fact, with the midterm elections coming up, Cheney thought that shooting someone in a “hunting accident” would be the perfect way to score points with the NRA. But guess what? We’re on to you, and this scandal will soon bring down the entire corporate-capitalist-fascist-militarist-racist Zionist right-wing Christian theocracy that the Chimpanzee Bush and his Nazi lieutenants forced on us in their violent coup-d’etat of 2000.

This story will not go away, Cheney!

Do Not Let Christians Get Away with It

Newspapers around the world are debating whether they should publish the horribly offensive cartoons of The Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him). This has nothing to do with freedom of expression, and it has everything to do with maliciously provoking innocent people by defaming the faith that they hold dear.

Yes, freedom of expression has no greater friend than yours truly. And when it comes to pointing out the evils of Christianity, I pull no punches. No, I am not afraid to publish images that offend religious people. This is what freedom means to me: Protecting the people from Christianity (and capitalism).

OK, Mr. Robertson: In the name of your religion, You have threatened the life of Hugo Chavezbut now you have to deal with me!

OK, Bush: In the name of your religion, you have declared war on the world’s minorities to enrich your corporate cronies…but I can exercise my freedom of expression to put you on trial as a fascist murderer!

But people, please! This has nothing to do with Islam! Islam is a force for good. Islam is holy to millions of people. Islam negates Zionism. Islam is love. Therefore, to defame it is to hurt. And we cannot tolerate hurt.

I challenge the right-wing thugs who published those cartoons to apologize and to make amends.

What is wrong with the world today?

Bushitler's Budget Will Send Us to the Death Camps

From a news article in today’s New York Times:

George W. Bush ran for office as a "compassionate conservative," arguing that Americans did not have to choose between huge tax cuts and a government that would do its part to address social needs like education and health care. Now into his sixth year in the White House, Mr. Bush offered a budget on Monday that showed more clearly than ever the inexorable limits of that political promise

From a news article in today’s Washington Post:

The Bush administration is preparing a budget request that would freeze most spending on agriculture, veterans and science, slash or eliminate dozens of federal programs, and force more costs, from Medicaid to housing, onto state and local governments, according to congressional aides and lawmakers.

Get it, people? This 21st Century Hitler (no, worse than Hitler) is openly starving Americans, prohibiting science, eliminating the social safety net of Federal programs, and placing the burden of everything from health care to housing on the backs of the people.

Need proof? Look at what the senators are saying!

“It represents the same reckless fiscal course the Bush administration has followed for the last five years” – Senator Kent Conrad, (D- ND)

“Bush's priorities are sorely out of whack” – Senator John Kerry (D – MA)

“I think the clear message you can take away from this budget is that for children and families and veterans and seniors, you're on your own.” – Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY)

That’s right people; you’re on your own!

At this point, you probably want an insightful analysis from someone with three Ph.Ds. Well, consider it done!

I opened the books, and this is what I found:

Department of Education spending will be cut by 12% to only $64,000,000,000 – meaning that I will no longer have pupils to educate.

Department of Labor spending will increase by 13% to $53,000,000,000...well, that’s a lie.

Department of Energy spending will remain unchanged at $22,000,000,000. Unchanged? In this day and age? How will the environment be managed? How will have we energy to do anything?

Department of Health and Human Services spending will increase 21% to $698,000,000,000. That’s all? Just 21%? How about expanding the Indian Health Service to the rest of us?

Department of Agriculture spending will increase 8% to $93,000,000,000. With our nation being on the brink of starvation, all you can give us is $93,000,000,000?

And it goes on and on and on like this. With such malicious savagery being dealt to us, we can now fully understand what Hitler was about. This budget is the equivalent of mass deportations to extermination camps.

Bush Step Down!

I missed the State of The Union address because I was too swamped with grading papers, but Bush continues to reveal himself as THE fascist threat of the 21st Century. Attacking innocent countries, stealing from the poor, blood for oil, starving children in our cities, a violent Christian theocracy -- these are very dangerous times.

Unfortunately, I was too busy pondering our collective future to join the toppling of the Bush Statue in San Francisco last week, but I wonder if we can all appreciate the delicious irony. After attacking Iraq, Bush's army pulled the Saddam statue down, and now we're pulling down Bush's statue! It's subtle, but it gets the point across.

The woman in the above picture is in fact one of my students. I personally trained her in the active resistance training of making continuous siren noises until justice is served. (And as an aside, it's also great for alleviating sinus infections if you simultaneously bend your right arm.)
